Refund - Cancellation - Booking Fee
At THE PROF, we understand that plans can change. Our policy is designed to be fair, clear, and respectful of both our clients’ time and our practitioners’ schedules.
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Appointments & Booking Fees

All appointments require a non-refundable booking fee.

“A booking fee (deposit) is required to secure the appointment and represents 50% of the total treatment price and is not transferable to another person.

We do not offer refunds for services once a treatment has been carried out.
Rescheduling Your Appointment

You may reschedule your appointment once, using the same booking fee (50% of the treatment's full price if:
-
You provide at least 48 hours’ notice (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays), and
-
The new appointment is booked within 30 days of the original date.

Any further rescheduling will require a new booking fee.
Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your booking fee.

“No-shows (failure to attend without prior notice) will result in the loss of the booking fee. The booking fee is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or used toward a future appointment.”

Booking fees and appointment charges are non-refundable in these cases.
Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your appointment.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may be unable to proceed with your treatment.

If treatment can still go ahead, the treatment time may be shortened to avoid delaying other clients.

In all cases, the full treatment fee remains payable.
Changing Your Treatment

Treatment changes can be requested at least 48 hours before your appointment and are subject to practitioner suitability and availability.

Any price difference must be paid on the day.

Your booking fee remains subject to this policy.

Special packages, promotional offers, or prepaid memberships may have separate terms; always check the specific offer’s terms.

If you wish to change the type of treatment at the time of booking or prior to 48 hours before the appointment, we may accommodate it (subject to practitioner capability and scheduling).

If you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time, your deposit may be transferred/forwarded to a new appointment, subject to availability.

If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, you will forfeit your deposit and will not be eligible to reapply it to a new booking.

In all cases, any new appointment must be scheduled within 3 months of the original date, or the deposit will be forfeited.
Illness & Emergencies

We may consider waiving cancellation fees in cases of serious or contagious illness or medical emergency, at our discretion.

Official proof may be required, and approval is not guaranteed.
Corrections & Satisfaction

We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction.

If an issue is raised during your appointment or within 7 days after treatment, and it is due to an error on our part, we may offer a complimentary correction where appropriate.

“The salon THE PROF accepts no liability if the client changes their mind regarding the colour, shape, or style after the treatment, provided that the client has previously completed a consent form confirming their detailed agreement with the expected outcome of the treatment.
Force Majeure & Clinic Cancellations
In rare circumstances (such as practitioner illness, equipment failure, pandemics, war, or extreme events beyond our control):

We will offer an alternative appointment date or a credit of your booking fee.

Fees remain non-refundable.

No additional compensation will be provided.
Client Conduct
We aim to provide a calm, safe, and professional environment.

Abusive, threatening, rude, or violent behaviour (verbal or physical) will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to cancel appointments immediately in such cases.

No refunds or credits will be issued if an appointment is cancelled due to misconduct.
Your Consumer Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
You may be entitled to remedies if a service is not delivered with reasonable care and skill or is not as described.
